AGU Outstanding Paper

Palle Jensen, Danish Technical University, Lyngby, Denmark, has received an AGU Outstanding Student Paper Award for his poster on "Deep-draft vessel generated drawdown and its effect on sediment transport", which "sets an example for your fellow students and the entire AGU membership". It was presented at the AGU Fall meeting 2007 in San Fransisco. Palle has carried out the work as part of a 6 month internship with USGS, St.Petersburg, FL and DHI using MIKE 21 FM to model effect of shipwakes on sediments and seagrass substrates in Tampa Bay, FL.
