Intecno-DHI, in a joint-venture with Hydrodata and ART, has been awarded a contract for definition of flood maps for the entire island. The client is the Sardegna Region and comprises risk analysis, based on hydrological and hydrodynamic modelling. More than 1200 km of rivers is comprised by the contract and involve:
- catchments definition and analysis;
- hydrology;
- topographic survey;
- definition on area for extraction;
- vegetation distribution;
- geomorphology;
- dams analysis;
- hydrodynamic modelling;
- flood maps definition.
